Hang on. Just realized that Horvat has had three straight 2 goal games. Absolutely nuts.

I’ll be going to be bed tonight and hopefully having a pleasant dream in which Rutherford announces an extension for Bo.

8 x 7M or 8 x 7.5M or 7 x 8M will get it done.

That's one way to look at it.  But another way to look at it is that we won!  And we scored 8 goals.  On to win #4.  Go Canucks Go!

I’m enjoying the win and was fun to watch

but I’m not going to get ahead of myself was super messy third period and we would have lost to a better team

JT Miller - 10 points

Jonathan Huberdeau - 5 points

So much hate for a point a game player…

One doesn't cost 10.5m for 8 years starting next year either hehe. Fla sucks too. Most overhyped trade that tanked both franchises

Would be funny anyways lol

If we win next game, are we still team tank? 4-6-2 isn't too bad of a record...

I do want Bedard or any of the top picks available but I also don't know with this team what to expect at all.

Today's game still shows defensively we're atrocious and I think our goaltending/defence have been terrible throughout. There needs to be big changes there.

However, if they can keep up the mentality of playing for a full 60 then things could turn around quickly.

It's really up to the players.

We just barely beat a bottom feeder, playing with almost no structure/defensive play. Scoring is fun and all but this team still looks nothing like a legit playoff threat.

Our roster construction (and succession) is a mess, we still need two top 4 RHD, a legit 3C,  far more/better organizational depth and the assets and cap space to add all that.

Then even with that, we actually need to play with NHL caliber structure.

Fun win, but we're miles away.

I’m not sure I really like what I’ve seen from Bear so far and he’s skating off rust and getting up to game speed still.

burroughs tho should be in the lineup over stillman 110%

Burroughs don’t play the same side as stillman so very little chance they put Burroughs on the left side

Bear has at least made OEL pairing for reliable this game

Myers is having a bad year. His reads are so poor right now. turning wrong way on rushes leading to others team scoring chances

Stillman doesn’t bring anything offensive. Puck dies on his stick and can’t read plays defensively

was surprised he wasn’t benched after the bad pinch

They are going to try to win regardless.

if we can get to

500 by 20 games we have a chance.

but based off how we played today I’m not convinced we are going to find extended success va better teams.

we allowed three 3rd period goals with a lead and one was a breakaway.

Anaheim sucks

I think it's been a mixture of that passenger mentality and our defensive personnel.

Management failed to really address one component in the offseason and the players are trying to fix the other component.

We'll see what happens I guess but I'm just sick and tired with the mixed results and signals we've been getting from this team for years.

I just don’t know what on earth is wrong with our penalty kill.

We desperately need to clean that shit up. This team might be the worst penalty killing team in NHL history. Dead last in 2 years.

I just don’t understand it.

Burroughs > Bear

I’d keep Bear in and swap Burroughs for Stillman

There’s 3 defencemen I’d rather see than Stillman. That said we haven’t really given him much of a chance yet

I'd rather take Breezer than Rathbone.

Defense changes: Stillman out, Bear out

Burroughs in, Rathbone in

Bear hasn't been terrible, but I found Burroughs better.

Burroughs > Bear > Myers

Myers had so many bad reads and stillman just bad

I rather see Rathbone-Burroughs or even better brisebois-Burroughs over these two

Bieksa over Burroughs over Bear over Breezer over Bone

over Stillman

who am I kidding?

I am pro Tank

Stillman and Bone for the win!

Won't win because he's not good at faceoffs.

He should have some nods already and the NHL doesn't even consider him because of his faceoff stats.

45.8% on the year so far after tonight's game(5/7) but not anywhere near Horvat's level of faceoffs taken and percentage.

If he gets closer to 50% then maybe.
