(Rumour) Nux have given permission for Boeser’s agent to talk to other teams

BB with a sweetener like Rathbone and Hogs should be able to get us a 3c.

A team like the NYI might take a shot seeing as Hogs had a great year.

Find a way to get Laf out of NYR that includes Miller and we should have 5 centers.

Brock 1.6 retained gets you something - prob 2nd and 4th

plus cap space

beauvellier could get you similar from a team who could flip him - ex 4th+ 5th to Chicago, Anaheim who could flip at deadline or CBJ who is looking to be competitive but could flip him if they are out of it at TDL

He's a complimentary top six winger who is currently overpaid but on a short-term deal, if he stays it's fine. Can re-evaluate our relationship with him later, won't be hard to flip in his final season or walk away from.

It's a business, most players don't stay put on one team their entire career. Maybe he stays, maybe he goes.

Just because he want to stay doesnt mean Alvin wants him here.  Its no secret that the team has been trying to trade him for years now.

Face it he's probably sticking around for the rest of his term minimum. We will look forward to you going quiet when he's putting up points like you always do, only to crawl out from under the bridge when he goes a game or 2 without scoring.

You love imagining things in your head dont you?

If boesers still on the team this club isnt making the playoffs.

Wonder what he thinks he should get paid if he signs here again ?

Hopefully that came up in his “meeting” too.

Hopefully that makes it palatable for Alvin.

4 at most as he owes us for years of over payment lol

To me send BB to the minors will  save cap space to get under the cap

Like Amen and Hogs he might learn to play better.

Some idiot GM might grab him and guess what who cares we have cap space.

This is the direction I thought we should have taken with LE…

he would have quit.  .. terminated his contract.

If a guy isn’t building your house up to the terms of the contract between you,   you don’t pay him for just showing up.

strange way to save $1 mill on the cap space, imo

"Hey Fank- would you mind paying a guy $6.650,000 to play in Abbotsford? It will save a million dollars worth of space, so we can find a guy at $3 mill to take his place.

I know, that would mean $9,650,000 out of your pocket, and an additional $2 mill in cap space to fill a spot that cost $6,650,000 last year, but inflation amirite?"

Not a chance the Nucks even make another offer. Theyve already admitted to trying to trade him.  When they couldnt find anyone willing to take him, they allowed his agent to try find a deal somewhere.  Regardless of how many points he puts up, hes not the type of player that helps you win when it matters.  Hes gone.
