(Rumour) Nux have given permission for Boeser’s agent to talk to other teams

Has anyone stopped to think, maybe because we don't have any set up guys as centres that's part of Brock's problem?

Our lack of depth at centre ice might be the bigger issue. Is he overpaid. Yes.

But he's also a symptom of possibly a bigger issue as well?

Boeser is neither going to "single handedly" win us us a cup, nor is he "the problem" with this roster.

strange way to save $1 mill on the cap space, imo

"Hey Fank- would you mind paying a guy $6.650,000 to play in Abbotsford? It will save a million dollars worth of space, so we can find a guy at $3 mill to take his place.

I know, that would mean $9,650,000 out of your pocket, and an additional $2 mill in cap space to fill a spot that cost $6,650,000 last year, but inflation amirite?"

Don't try dissuade the slower portion of the fanbase with facts. It's futile.

Ok, so safe to say:

Hughes-???

???-Hronek

???-Myers

Think so. And it’s confirmed they’re working on extensions for Juulsen and Burroughs.

If there’s no suitable upgrade at RD, they can give Juulsen spot duty with Hughes.

Also think we’ve got legitimate internal candidates for 3LD between Wolanin, Brisebois and Hirose

Would be fantastic if one of the young guns takes a big step -- PeteyD, Johansson, Hirose, McWard, Jurmo, etc.  We need 1 or 2 of these guys to make the big club and have an impact.

Juulsen seems the most likely.

Well isnt THIS interesting?

According to Dregs.

Philly struck out trying to move Sanehim to the Jets. Jets rejected an offer that included Philly taking Nate Schmidt+ for Sanheim.

Philly then went to the Canucks and struck out again trying to move Sanheim for a similar package. Dregs couldnt quite put his finger on which winger Philly was willing to take back but a winger with similar contract as Schmidt so it would have been Boeser or Garland. Either way, Boeser/Garland + for Sanheim was rejected by the Canucks as well.

Who knows what the + would have been. Maybe it involved the #11 from the Canucks or #18 from the Jets.

Either way, Sanheim's value isnt looking as strong as Philly might have been hoping for. Sanheim's 8yr 6.25 cap hit starts this season which inlcuded a NTC

Makes sense, Myers can be serviceable for one more season and it's not worth paying to move him

It does doesn't it. The OEL buyout gave the management some leverage. I'm sure Myers and some other players are available for the right price. But no need to pay to dump now.
