Doesnt mean I have to stay being a fan of such a shitty organization. Joke. Pathetic. Whatever word. This team is a joke. Yeah, I mean Arizona plays in a college rink and Panthers and some of the US teams have to give tickets away for free and get subsidies or profit sharing or whatever to get by. This team has knowledgeable and loyal fan base and the way we sent Bruce off, I'm not really ashamed to be a fan of the Canucks. The rookie management has been annoying to say the least in the way they handle the media and all that but I think they are starting to get it as JR said in the presser, he's going to zip it and say no more. Allvin is very good at saying nothing by saying a lot and while that is annoying, it may be what this market needs: a boring GM. This market needs a completely new franchise. Or another decade to wait until someone competent can run this team. This is also nothing compared to what we endured when Messier and Keenan came in and poured salt in the wound of our 94 heartbreak. At least now, as painful and ugly as this is, we may have a shot at adding necessary pushback, hard play, and accountability into our game so we don't keep doing the same thing over and over. The fact is ... we are constantly a joke to the media and other fanbases. We have to stop caring about that and striving for acceptance. 2011 outed that we ARE a joke to others no matter what we do, good or bad. I feel like we are connecting Tochett to the firing of Bruce, but he has nothing to do with his firing. He is just the replacement/fall guy. This management team is pretty cut throat and maybe it looks ugly but it looks like we finally have a group of guys in place who will push back against Aqua and his over bearing ways. I've been a fan of this team way too long to tune it out. I can handle the loss of hope, been doing that for decades too. What I can not handle or support is how this team is being run now. gone completely classless. Say one thing, do another. Treat the coach like crap. Do nothing substantive to help the guy. Then do the worst job of firing I've seen from any place other than a 7/11 store. continue to point the finger everywhere, except their own failure. Can't support it; won't support it.
