I believe our 2nd is in 2024 while Ottawa's a mid-high 2nd in this coming 2023 draft that is considered deeper.

And they also paid a 4th and tye Canucks also got Stillman who, despite the low hanging fruit crowds disdain, is actually playing well and could be a player going fwd.

And we get Stillman on a 1.4 x 2 as the cherry on top... Will go down as one of the most dog deals once that 2nd is a early 40s next season lol

The cap saving included his contract. Never know he might turn into something, he's been good for the tank at least.

Fair enough, but truth be told, Stillman was playing like garbage to begin with. It wasn't until

about 7-8 games ago you could see that he was playing a much steadier game and gaining confidence.

Let's hope he continues to improve.

Once they got a halfway decent defensive system in there, yes.

Myers is a gong show, period.

Anyway, my point was and still is, Stillman sucked to begin with when he

got here and people were complaining he was in the lineup because of the 2nd

that was traded for him.

Now, he's playing a much simpler game and it shows.

Also, if it's all about the decent defensive system, why do Myers and OEL still suck?

Wow.. that’s impressive. If only we went that route these past couple years. That bubble success really messed us up in the long run. Hopefully JR and PA have a few deals up there sleeve and impress us for a change

Even in our actual rebuild years we didn’t get that much draft capital… Man we are bad.
