I'd be over the moon happy with 8th overall.

Agreed though, people shouldn't even look at Arizona or Montreal.

Philly

Washington

Detroit

St Louis

Ottawa

Those are the teams we are cheering for!

Philly has a similar schedule to us in the final 6.

Three games against easier opponents and then three against tough opponents.

All we need is a loss against the Kraken and a win for them against the Blues and the push for 7 spot will be on!

The worst part is Philly, Arizona and Montreal keep losing too. :(

We'll if Tock-it didn't play "the snot" out of our only good D-Man (Quinn) for 59 minutes a game and Demko and didn't shorten the bench every 3rd period in desperation to get wins, we might lose a couple more games and that can make a huge difference in draft positioning.    All these "Vanity wins" are counter productive to draft positioning and while I know Tock-it's trying to improve things, he should tempo that and not burn-out players and lose better draft seeding in a year where nothing they do matters anymore.

He looked fine for his 1st NHL game.

Looked like it was a bit tough to get used to the speed of the NHL game, but it's to be expected.  He was pretty mobile and smart with and without the puck.  They also gave him Myers so they see him in tough scrambly positions haha

Maybe that's why Myers looked decent. That university vibes is waking up his mind.

WoW, I actually agree with this point.

Good result.  Especially since the Wings won and St Louis got a point to keep them ahead of the Canucks in the standings.

Still need to have a string of losses to prevent the team from moving up and destroying any chance at a decent pick.

Tocchet should be playing Delia or Silovs the majority of the remaining games... no idea why he continues to play Demko like we're in the playoff hunt.

Demko should be rested... the key is getting him into next season healthy and ready to go.

Idiotic to play him at the rate Tocchet is doing now.

When seasons ticket sales and squeaking into the playoffs are the goal it makes sense.

Need new ownership. That hasn’t changed.

Tocchet said that he's going to play Delia 3 of the last 6 games.

Good tank game. Was afraid they are gonna sweep the last month.

Stay within the last 11 teams. Get a chance at the lottery for top 3. Any of those three centers will have a big impact for yrs to come.

Got this after over 20 tries. At least 10 times nux went down and picked #9.

Can only call up Silovs under emergency criteria

Alvin and Jim don’t see it your way!

You are correct!    However, something tells me it's Aqua-Lini meddling again and preventing change - keeping false hope and promises up in the name of Revenue $$$.  Especially since even JR finally gave up in disgust and came to his senses and admitted "This Team Needs MAJOR SURGERY" and yet all I've seen is Bo get traded and two extremely high draft picks in a generational draft class be thrown away for an badly injured (unserviceable) D-Man (HornWreck) that might hopefully be healthy enough to play some-time next year.

These insignificant actions smell of "ReTool" not "Major Surgery" to any serious canucks fan and shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that someone is preventing JR from doing - what he and long-time Canucks fans knows needs to be done.  Guess who that is?

This loss against L.A. is yet another perfect example why we need/ed a REBUILD.   For all the "dreamers" that say "we're close", after Tock-It took over, the facts are; that since the All-Star break, the Canucks have only managed to win against 4 teams (a total of 6 games) that are in a playoff position out of 27 Games.  Sad but True!

The reality is we've been playing bottom-feeder teams for the last two months who are dedicated to tanking - unlike our "smart" team that appears great against those basement dwellers.  When it comes to playing good teams - we still can't compete with this same core group of players we've had for years.  We have a lonnnnnng way to go............

Yes, trade Petey, Hughes and Demko, and even the janitor because Bedard (or whoever they can draft) is the savior and he will definitely change this sad franchise the second he landed his feet in Rogers Arena.
