We have been very lucky with Robson, Hughson, Shorthouse, Larscheid, and Cheech in the booth.  There will be some big shoes and ketchup bottles to fill next season.

And another guy who often doesn't get mentioned but it becomes obvious when he's away that he's missing:  Al Murdoch. Hearing some other team's in house announcers...cringe. He's so professional and just perfect for the job. We've truly been blessed with some of the very best.

In a perfect world, Petey gets 2 goals and Kuz gets a goal for 40 each, with a couple of assists by Hughes for 75 points, and the Yotes win 4-3. Then DET, WSH, STL all win and we finish with the 8th overall pick.

Thanks for the wonderful laughs, game analysis, inside jokes, picking up on things that Shorty misses, your intuition of calls happening in the game, and sharing your wonderful stories and game expertise as well everything in between. Happy retirement.

Man it’s going to be sad. Shorty’s going to feel real emotional tonight, much like the rest of us. I basically grew up with these 2 the last 15 years as an almost now 28 year old.

I too would like to thank all to start and contribute to these threads. VintageCanuck for keeping us informed of the latest happening,goalie 13 for running Predict the Score,OldFaithfulCap fioor starting the majority of the GDT this season. Cheech - can't imagine who will fill his skates. I haven't posted much the last couple years - 2 rounds of chemo did quite the number.  I keep saying I want to live long enough to see the Canucks win  the cup.  Sure hope I have a few more years in this old body.  There are a few of us "high milers" on this board . I am sure we would all love to see this.

Here's to a better season next year. And to anyone I missed - well thank you. You as a rule all brighten my game days

A bit surprising but PA is hoping that he clears given he has an injury. Not a bad depth defenseman which all teams need, especially the Canucks ...
