as much as i was mad about the offside non call, it is a good call once they explained it, most of us were looking at the puck and skates. even shorty and cheech were saying its good, and cheech is on our side most of the time.

He had control of the puck before the blue line and after therefore he had possession as the puck crossed the blue line

the league just set a terrible precedent tonight

now they will have to check every play being reviewed to ensure the puck was in contact with the stick at the blue line entry

We need to tweak the lineup

Not just from this game, but the last few.

1. Move Eriksson to Beagles line so we still have a decent shutdown line when needed. Eriksson has gone stale for now

2. Move Sutter to Gaudette's line first of all to win more draws but to add some stability defensively there

3. Move Brock to Horvats line to give him 2 heavy forwards  and play a simple game to try to get him going

4. Move jake back to the 1st ... ummm because it was working quite well. He adds speed and heaviness that benefits that line

Miller- Petey- Jake

Pearson- Bo- Brock

Rouss- Sutts- Gaudette

Schaller- Beagle- Eriksson

Also isn't it time to get Benn back in the line up?

Not saying Fanta's playing poorly but a little shake up on the D wouldn't hurt

Might be a nice change of pace to have a player on the ice with some guts.

if you can show a full replay of all of the stick handling of him bringing it into the blue zone without touching the offside because he's skate was on the onside side of it, before, the panel made a pretty good video of it, even shorty and garrett agreed after the full reveiw?

EDIT: You have to have contact on puck before you cross the blue, which he didnt, he did before.

I 100% agree with this.  I am just hoping that Benn kicks it up a notch he needs to get feisty.

Can’t win them all as much as I would like to.

3 in 4 nights on the road with playing the best home team in the league. The cards were stacked against us. Teams deal with this all the time and know that they’ll have a dealt a handicap going in, especially if it’s against a top team. Happens all the time. Teams will never say it’s an excuse but it always plays a factor. It’s nothing new.

If we managed to steal the W it would be an upset and a surprise to a lot of people.

All you can do is take what you can, move on and focus on the next one. The league ain’t gonna pity you when you are pissed off over a loss.

Need to bounce back and make an alright road trip a good one in Minny.

How much longer do we have to wait before this nucks team starts hitting? Alot more respect will be taken from other teams if they realize we wont take anymore Crap. Jake should be hitting guys like motte does. Rous has lost a step? Beagle still going strong . JUst lay into they body on the fore check roll off and get back into the play. No  we just shin tap the opposing teams pads on the way casually back up ice.

Wait..didn't we have like 27 hits today compared to Boston's 29 hits? For what it's worth, Virtanen and Pearson led the way with 4 hits

Fantenberg's been one of our most consistent defensemen.  Agree on the forward lines though.

Hard game to watch. Officiating was poor. Boys looked tired and without much fire. Was hoping for at least a competitive game - though the outcome was what most were expecting.

At least I saw Loui make a hit. That accounts for his seasonal quota.

Ferland and roussel were supposed to add some snarl to the lineup.  My concern is they now have a concussion history and they probably can’t fill the role where the gloves need to dropped once in a while.  Ferland can still be a good player but I don’t expect him to be any kind of deterrent. I hope he can still deliver hard clean hits when he gets back.

we need a young piss n vinegar type player who has something to prove and will do anything a la Burrows to stay in the big league.  If they wanna run with this relatively soft core they got to surround them with some jerks that the other team doesn’t like to play against.
