EternalCanuckFan Posted February 24, 2020 Share Posted February 24, 2020 After trading a 1st to shed Marleau's cap (who is now back east with Pittsburgh), I'm sure Dubas has been asking for a 1st as part of the package for Barrie. Barrie has put up impressive numbers in the past but he's not having a great season and his contract is expiring. I can see the Canucks having had some interest if they were able to negotiate with Barrie about an extension, but I can't see any team being willing to give up that much for Barrie at this point.
