Ari 64 games played 68 points, 9th in the conference and 2 games more played then the 7th and 8th seed Win and Cal

 

4 Games more played against seed 10 and 11, Nash 66 points with 60 games played and Minny 65 point with 60 games played 

 

The writing is on the wall they're not making the playoffs 

 

So if Ari GM wanted to recoup some of that trade loss by selling Taylor Hall 

 

Would you want JB to go after him

He would be our leading scorer but would cost far too much. We'd have to give up something like a 1st/A-grade prospect (Podkolzin, Juolevi) + roster player + pick.

We only took a minor hit with our pool with acquiring Toffoli, Hall would be a major blow and is much more likely to not re-sign here.

And you think 5 year of rebuilding is enough ? This would set us back even further! Look at past trades. You would be giving up the farm for a guys like him. No thank you. We are already tight against the cap and you have to look the future when you have to think about contracts for Pettersson and Hughes.

Hall extends in Arizona.  They gave up the farm to get the guy, so no way are they letting him walk fir nothing.  Plus, no current playoff team is going to risk bringing Hall into their room.

This. JB is on to something by acquiring those that have been successful in the past. It takes a special breed to win championships, others continue to lose for a reason.

i don't know. They say he's like a high end transporter. Not really a playermaker or scorer.

If we were out of the playoff picture I'd consider it, we've never had a 1st overall pick. But we're not, and I'm not interested in what he'll be looking for regarding an extension. Not at his age.

Juolevi really isn’t a grade A prospect anymore.  Pod is though.

Only way I trade for Hall is if we're not making the playoffs.  He is Mr. 1st overall pick having been on a team that drafted 1st overall no less than 5 times, 6 if you include himself
