Islanders might have the best fans in the league.
I actually became huge fans of them when they boo'd the living monkey piss out of Tavares when he returned for the first time.
I've only ever had two "official" "2nd favourite" teams in the NHL (80's Oilers + Yzerman era Wings), but I have a bit of a thing for the Isles. Maybe not official "2nd favourite" status yet, but they have my attention.

According to multiple sources, news are not good regarding Jean-Gabriel Pageau today. Could be out from 4 to 6 months and a surgery to repair a Achilles’ tendon could be necessary.

Not sure if a minor trades thread is needed since the numbers of signings are roughly 11 times more than the number of trades. If every single trade (including the very minor ones) was posted as a separate thread, there would only be on average 1 trade thread each week.

the pp really improved the later part of the season
so i guess that had nothing to do with brown
only when it was doing poorly - then it was his fault
and that was when edler was absent due to injury
and larry robinson
could not coach our d group to being successful this past season
we need better talent before worrying about canning coaches
cuz the sub par talent cannot get the job done
