Derp...
In the playoffs there would have been 5mins for each fight and 2 mins roughing for Sestito due to Nolan's heroic actions. That's all.
It's a process
Possibly a turning point for this team. Showed a lot of heart tonight just need some finish. Won't go anywhere without this type of heart in the playoffs,,,, Kings now know we are turning a corner and not a pushover anymore. We will lose more games this year but hopefully this will help us come together. Very true but they still need some offensive help. No question about that. canucksnihilist
This is a game that we needed one of those burrows goals... Edit: I guess that is all the games...
Grapefruits
That PP is killing us. During a radio interview, KB4 said they don't really work on it in practice. WTF!!!!! How many times have we had an opportunity with the PP to win a game? Yep, we needed to bury on of those chances, instead the looked like chickens running around with their heads cut off. Derp...
Last laugh to Brown and Nolan. That really p!sses me off! They are still 2 of the ugliest guys in hockey so no worries.
John Tortorella
Trash game. Tough means nothing if your divisional rival increases their lead over you.
JiffyPB
Canucks went toe to toe with them physically, but lost because of a single play. If they can play like that, they win most nights. Ok. Seems good to me minus the lack of scoring.
DeNiro
Having to kill penalties the first 10 minutes really hurt their offense IMO. When you start out a game like that you start off in a defensive mode that's hard to get out of. Sestito really hurt the team there, and didn't even make Nolan pay that much. Not worth it to have a guy that's gonna make bonehead plays like that. Especially in the playoffs.
MoneypuckOverlord
Missed the game. What happened other than the usual refereeing? Nolan takes a run at Henrik Again. Nolan was out to hurt a star player. Refs do nothing. Sestito challenges Nolan, and Nolan cowards away, Sesito gets a 17 minute major, refs handing L.A kings all sorts of powerplays, despite their goonery. Vancouver fights back with emotion, but still "random" calls, against Vancouver they don't even know what to call. Their call on Weise was a 4 second delay. Daniel takes a penalty by taking down Doughty (awesome play) Henrik gets penalized for it, shows how blind they are it;' hilarious.
dragon4401
Okay Gillis it's time to get Kane and Ott. WPG Shinkaruk Tanev 1st BUF Jensen 3rd Kane is YOUNG it is okay to give up a prospect for a YOUNG fwd. Scoring + Grit. Get it done. Rather take a run at both Wheeler and Ladd...those 2 are older wont have as much value solo as Kane and we get 2 top6 guys that can really push the play physically and add dirty goals

chrisbanks
what a huge game by kassian..... another one of these games where his "skill" would be great to go along with his size but yet again vs LA he does next to nothing ...except put us short handed log 1 hit and rack up 20 minutes in misconducts... MikeyD
Okay Gillis it's time to get Kane and Ott. WPG Shinkaruk Tanev 1st BUF Jensen 3rd Kane is YOUNG it is okay to give up a prospect for a YOUNG fwd. Scoring + Grit. Get it done. Wayyyy too much for Kane. Wpg would destroy us with that deal. Absolutely destroy us. Don't buy into the hype with Kane that much unless it's the Kane who plays for the Hawks.
Riviera82
Real good effort by the boys tonight. It was a fun game to watch and had the score been reversed it would've been a great game overall.
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
"When you pull on that jersey, you represent yourself and your teammates. And the name on the front is a hell of alot more important than the one on the back! Get that through your head!" - Herb Brooks Tonight we may have lost, but for the first time, I saw a team. A team that was willing to fight for one another on the ice. THAT my friends is the what a team is about. I find this morally a victory regardless the score Our boys played a heck of a game....I am fricken proud of the team tonight.
shazzam
Canucks still doing it wrong, you don't go after Nolan. Go after Kopitar and Carter, that will send the message.
