Canucks1219
I wouldn't be so sure the way he is playing. He is easily the worst forward through 2 hope he takes his game to level everyone knows he can play at Yeah, worse than Chartier who had his name mentioned twice. First to say he is a bubble guy and scored lots in the WHL this year. Second to say he is a bubble guy and scored lots in the WHL this year. DeNiro
If he makes it there is a good chance he will be the 13th forward..hope he has a big 3rd to help his cause. Naw, he'll be in the top 9. People need to watch him play more before they start writing him off in this tournament. If he scores I bet everyone will be penciling him in with Reinhart or McDavid again. Ive watched him play and not writing him off at all..but I dont coach that team and only go from what I see..but I hope you are right.
TheSnipeshow91
Fk cmon another 25 second shift for Virtanen after Gauthier turns it over.
Outsiders
I don't like it like the member above stated. When the Reinhart has been out for a minute or more then a stop in play. the line stays out. But Virtanen's line is out for like 25 seconds and theres a stop in play they get pulled off

Dogbyte
I agree with this..for a kid not hardly seeing the ice this period doesnt bode well when there are 2 cuts to be made..could be taking the Horvat snub out on him as well. Wouldn't they actually be giving him a chance to prove himself if others were ahead of him at this point? They don't give a spit about winning. On second thought maybe that subway series got to them. It shouldn't though. Edited December 20, 2014 by Dogbyte
Down by the River
The Reinhart line is likely to play together at the start of the tournament. Makes sense that they are getting a lot of time, they need to continue to develop chemistry. Virtanen's linemates are by no means set. I have no concern that Virtanen will make the team. Outsiders
Virtanen needs to get in there with his line mates and stop covering for the d-man. He's not a d man so stop standing at the point. get in there and at least look to be gritty

Dogbyte
End in a tie? Virtanen is built for this tournament. He'll just own people. Edited December 20, 2014 by Dogbyte

LeanBeef
Ritchie was played twice in OT while Virtanen was glued to the bench. Would rather see Ritchie in the lineup over Dal Colle. Still think Virtanen would look good on the opposite side of ritchie Edited December 20, 2014 by LeanBeef
TheSnipeshow91
What an absolute fking joke. Put Ritchie on but not the best skater in the 2014 draft. Groulx you really are something. Just saw the replay and what do you know, there's Ritchie lying on top of a Russian player because he couldn't keep up with the play. Ihatetomatoes
Ritchie was played twice in OT while Virtanen was glued to the bench I was really looking forward to seeing Virtanen with the open ice. Ritchie played a lot better than Virtanen throughout the game though.

DeNiro
Anyone stop and think that maybe Ritchie is being played more because he's on the bubble? This is an evaluation game after all. Why play Virtanen if he knows he's already on the team?
