Your detailed account of his rise through juniors becoming an OHL defensive player of the year coupled with leading Canada at the WJHC camp at Lake Placid have totally swayed me. I now fully believe everything you say as without a DOUBT your argument is the most well thought out introspective into any current prospect I have ever seen. Gaunce will not become anything on this team for a long time and these people think he can start at 3rd line centre. You're right. He's a first rounder, he's a big player, a defensive specialist, which is what you need to be able to do to play in the NHL, and he was voted one of the most NHL ready players last year. What's so implausible that a player with that cred can make the NHL on a team that needs centers? It's like you've been doing nothing but watching practices from all the teams or something and you have this incredible insight. You're the one who made the statement that he won't make it. Why won't he make it? Why won't he be the player everyone expects? All you've made so far is a statement with no evidence to back yourself up. Then you ridicule people for calling you out (and in the process you give us reasons why he could make the NHL LOL). Losers are not people who overrate the prospects on their team; those are homers. Losers are people that get their thrills by posting messages with the sole intention of baiting the other members. There seems to be a number of these pathetic individuals around here. So sad when a young person can't find more fulfilling ways to enjoy their lives. There's some pretty good reasons to be cautiously optimistic IMO. I think he's likely leap-frogged Jensen as the next, most ready prospect.
