I get that Edler and Tanev are injured, but at one point someone's gotta step up. Tired of excuses. We need to win, even if the playoffs are not in play as of now. And would it be his fault that there would be a lockout? That's what alienated Bure. Signed a deal for x many years at y million $, then in the lockout year they played just 44 of 84 games, so Canucks pro-rated that year. Wasn't Bure's fault (nor the NHLPA) - but the greedy owners - expiring contract was, in their eyes, too lucrative for the players.
