but but all those posters that said our pk wouldn't survive without Loui "the PK GOD" Eriksson being out there!

jk

i know I shouldn't kick a guy when hes down... but for 6mill, Loui ain't crying about it.

I don't recall anyone saying that.

Me neither.

Beagle Shaller doing great PK work. Sutter Motte 2nd pair on PK. All of them have been lights out. Pearson filled in well for Motte last game.

Good mix of youth and vets on the team. Should be an interesting season. Looks like a playoff team.

Keys to a Canucks win..

1) Stellar goaltending from either Demko or Markstrom

2) Pk continues to be red hot, however the Pp will have to be better.

3) play with some ghost pepper hotness right from the get go.

4) Quinn outperforms Jack

5) playing with some physicality

6) out score the Devils.

One key for me would be for Green to start an energy line. - maybe Sutter with Jake and Mikey.  Or Beagle/Schaller/Motte.  Win the draw, dump the puck in, then forecheck and each get a hit in on the first shift.  It's been commented already how slow starters we are - at 10:00 Pacific time we are in danger of being caught still sleeping.

Predictions:

Benn scores 1st goal as a Canuck; thus every dman will have scored

PP will continue to be hot garbage

Petey scores a hat-trick
Quinn will score more points this game  than Jack!

Even if the Devils go ahead, they are the kings of blowing leads so let’s keep the momentum going!

I am very much looking forward to backto back morning games this weekend with Jacko and Kakko. Battle of the Hughes bros, red hot canucks in the Devils Den. What’s not to love about spending the soggy weekend inside watching sports:wub:

Timrafan, stawns.

I said that was value he brought to the team and a role he can play if he were in the lineup.  That's still true.

Nvm, I see what you were saying.

Interesting how the farm team is mirroring the parent team

Unbeaten this season at 4 and 0 (8-2 win today against Calder Cup champs)

PP is 1 for 17 (20th overall)

PK has given up 2 of 17 (88%) and 9th overall

I do love that the team is past the need for a player like Eriksson on the roster, and that Green sees fit to implement that idea.
