cuporbust
Maybe going against the grain , but from the moment we signed Myers , I was excited to have another actual NHL calibre d man in the lineup. His play this far has proved why Benning thought he would be a good fit here . He has been reliable as a trail horse so far. His first passes have been very good , and looks offensively inclined enough to be a welcome addition in the offensive zone. Still, sadly, there are some here that picture our blue line this year as better without him still. I hope he has won some over though by this point as a key addition . N7Nucks
I haven't seen anyone hate the Myers acquisition. Not sure how one could validate the claim we'd be better without him. Dude makes mistakes but the offensive instincts are there. Dude has been positive for this team.
King Heffy
I'm definitely biased towards defensive defensemen but he's been fine in his own end. No complaints.
awalk
He's tall and pushes people over sometimes what's not to like? 1 2
-AJ-
I originally felt that it was a bit rich, but was willing to wait and see how it played out. So far he hasn't put up points, but he's been surprisingly solid overall. If this is what we get for 5 years, I'll be satisfied. Is 3 points in 12 games worth $6M? Not likely, but he's still playing pretty well.

You need to add an option for #2 of Happy, always thought his contract was fair
Where's Wellwood
I never believed we were getting him for points. That's what Edler and Hughes are for. I like what he's bringing and I don't mind the AAV. I do worry what he'll be like in year 4 and 5 but that's better than having to worry about a year 6 or 7 like some were fear mongering.
48MPHSlapShot
But how do you feel about Tyler Myers? 1 1 1
Winter Soldier
For a guy who has slotted onto the top pairing with Edler and been effective in all situations I've been thrilled. The points will come when he's a second unit power play guy and possesses a strong breakout ability.
nuckin_futz
He's not Pouliot. Nuff said.

Metal Face Doom
He was a good signing. This off season was an easy A grade for GMJB. Once Linden left, everything changed for the better imo.

Viper007
Hahaha need to change the title. Don't know who this Meyers is.
RogersTowell
I was a fan of this signing from the get go. Benning had an even better off season than I thought he did. I had given him a B+ on it initially, but I'm revising his grade to A+. Amazing transformation of the team.
Phil_314
Guy is a workhorse. Also great to have him buffer Tanev and Stecher from taking on the most physical match ups, plus he packs a sorely needed right shot from the back.
