Would you like to see Kesler in the Ring of Honour?

I listened to Sportnet Ryan Kesler on Sportsnet 650 on my way home today, listen at 11:30. He mentions how he'd feel if he was inducted like Burrows.  In the interview he states, as well he regrets how he left the Canuck market.

I'd really like to see him there sometime in the future.  I understand he's was an ass the way he left, but we all know that type of personality got us to the cup final as well.  

 

The greatest line from him is: "I think about the loss almost every month' and even imagined how the parade would be.

I have no bad feelings towards Kesler. It's his career to do what he wants with. And Bure did the same thing and he is revered by all, including myself.

 

Kes deserves to be up there, he was a warrior and the only selke winner in franchise history.

If Kesler went about things the right way he would have been a Vancouver legend for life and he would have enjoyed all of the fanfare and endorsements that comes with it. Instead he hamstrung our team for his own selfish reasons and forever tarnished his reputation. Now that he is fading into obscurity he sees the error of his ways. Too little to late in my opinion.

I thought he had a screw loose when he broke his finger and he was telling the trainer to cut it off it meant he could keep playing. 

I like players with drive and determination. But some times, take a breath. And see the doctor.

As much as I liked kelser on the team and how I understood why he wanted a trade and feel it was fair of him to ask I voted no.

 

I feel the ring is for heart and soul players and coaches who would go down with the ship paddling with whatever they can get their hands on

He was a huge part of the success of this club. He was a warrior for us for years. 

I hold no ill will he wanted to leave when he did.

I loved him too. 

But the way he chose to leave ruined any future honour from the club.

 

Good guys don't do $&!# like that. Maybe Anaheim has a ring of honour
