I think we still lack a true power forward that’s tough and can be strong on the puck. Miller is the closest thing to that.

I tend to look at these things quite differently.

 

Neither Juolevi or Virtanen are in the lineup. 

Is that because they're unworthy?

Not necessarily.   The team has quality depth imo - and quality youth - and it's a  few games in the midst of a 56 game sprint...

 

At some point a good young player like Jake, or Gaudette, or both - might not find their future with this group.   But I wouldn't be writing off any of them.

 

The positive 'problem' to have here - they have very good quality young players down through their depth.  They'll need it.
