Changes Leaf made this period were having 1 guy be in close support of the puck carrier when leaving the defensive zone. Last few shifts the strong side D has been the close support jumping up. The D would move it to a forward at the blueline then that D would jump up as the Canucks applied pressure to that forward giving Leaf forward the D as an outlet.
