Nucks not hitting any more and thats giving the opponent time and space.  Not looking good if we cant bury another goal or two in the 3rd.  Miller is looking tired as he got out battled for the puck that ended up in our net.

Mac is up to a whopping 5 10 through two periods.  That's lowest on the team.  Lower than Virt and Rouss. Barely half what gaud has played.

 

And yet his fight is one of the keys to the game IMO.  

 

Green is not my coach.  I'm sorry folks.  He is incapable of making in game changes and reading emotions.  He plays safe and makes conservative and passive choices every time.

 

As if not playing mac after what he did to to lift the team by winning a fight against a legit heavy weight doesn't matter.

12 blocked shots is 3rd among forwards (to Motte and Sutter).

 

He may be a rookie - but he's not in over his head whatsover.

I don't know about those fancy stats but he passes the good ol' fashioned eye test.  He sure looks like he belongs out there.  If not for a few bounces he'd have more points too.  I think he'll start getting the points soon.  He can only get better from here.  We've got a good future but we've got to take care of the right now.  Right now.  Go Canucks Go!

MacEwen misses a couple shifts when he was in the box with a major - otherwise he'd be in the 6-7 minute range like his linemates (on track for 9 minutes in a game the team is doing very well territorially - ie not a lot of dzone starts) = nothing to see here.
