When they hire a new GM hope he has a press conference and tells us all the framework for the plan. Just articulate that there is a plan and you have a map to get there, then actually stick to it. Whatever it is I'll be on board.  I stuck out the Blue Jays rebuild because they were clear what they were doing and that they weren't going to stray. They did and I'm a happy Jays fan right now.

I just wanted to congratulate all the JB haters out there! I ain’t mad or disappointed and I think this team will have JB hand print on it for  years to come, the Good and Bad. Biggest mistake this summer was resigning Green. There gonna be some players on this team that help us win from the JB era. I think of it as part of the process and hope we move forward with this team in a positive direction.

I feel sad 99.99999% of the time that someone loses their job. JB has put everything into this role since he started - I can only imagine the physical and mental toll

That said, this is a great move for the organization going forward. Hopefully the new regime is given some time to create a roster and player development system that is able to compete for, and in, the playoffs every year.

Not when the core he drafted wins us a cup. The coaching staff and the lack of experience around him were the problem. To only place the blame on Benning is laughable
