Odd. Posted July 2, 2022 Share Posted July 2, 2022 I have this feeling Kuzmenko and Boeser are going to be real good together. Someone mentioned Vanek, Boeser and Vanek were crazy good together. They put up many 3, 4, even 5 point nights together. Vanek was a treat, miss that guy. The contract should be tradeable as he's a perennial 25 goal guy and maybe 30+ in the next 3 years. I was initially hoping for a trade but maybe he'll be a guy to lean on during the next year or two if some trades are made where we step back a bit. But it was Burkie's team. Some of those guys were drafted by Nonis and he also traded for Lou. Gillis just had to build around what he inherited. His big additions were Hamhuis (who a half trained monkey could have signed here), and Ehrhoff who came with a cap dump NHL contract buried in the minors. His plan was just awful because he was simply not qualified for the position. Literally the entire hockey world knows this as a fact except a small segment of Canucks fans that are determined to keep their head in the sand. Why, I'll never know.
