Ronaldoescobar
Nucks have made some questionable picks over the years but they have some pretty decent ones when going with Swedish players. This won’t be another Tkachuk / OJ.

Heck we might even see it at the WJC I think they might put him with ASP like before but we will see. hey Maybe. But Hughes-Willander D-Petey-Hronek Could be better balanced in age/experience and stylistic fits. But your pairings would balance the high end skating. Fun to project. 1
PistolPete13
Benson has the physique of Gary Bettman. That size may not translate well in the Big boy league. 1

Popular Post JeremyCuddles
If we didn't already have Lekkerimaki, I would probably be more upset about not taking Benson. But with Lekkerimaki and the fact Willander can skate like the wind, has good size and is a good two player. I don't get why he's a problem. "Late riser though," so was Reinbacher and Seider. You take RHD when you can find them. 6'1, monster skater. Great pick for us. 2 6

The fact hes leaving SWE to play in the NCAA is a superb move for his development. What’s your point? That he could be good? I’m not contesting that. They picked of player they feel has the biggest upside potential You want to win the Stanley cup? You swing for the fences in the first round. You either get completely slammed and miss out, or you hit a home run. It's the right move. Screams Tomas Gradin Screming "take this guy"!!!! He is stuck in college so the Canucks can't ruin him. Perfect. Most importantly they did not trade away the pick for a guy that MIGHT, MIGHT, actually be a good player on a cost controlled conract, for many years, in the future. It's what hope is built from. 1 1
