I would be happy to watch roster players fly out the door (not petey Hughes or demko) and lose as many games as possible. Even if they don't win the lottery it will show a direction. Not sure if you're being sarcastic but this is apples and Oranges. The 1999 draft was a perceived weak draft at the time. Connor Bedard is a generational talent. It will be impossible to trade up to a top 3 spot this year without trading a Hughes or a pettersson. Are you willing to do that?
