They went something like 3 days after losing another defenceman to injury before pulling this off. This is very similar to the Bear trade. Is Myers off the table then? There isn't much more to this move than that. I think they would have liked to have added a bigger name, but they need to figure out how long everyone is going to be out for + their cap situation.
