Gotta be Carolina.  They took an excellent Jersey team and made them look like fools.  If they don't win the cup I'll be surprised.

It's strange to think either Carolina or Florida will be in the finals pretty soon. Carolina is a great team but I'm surprised they are playing so well with their injuries.

I’d like the Canes to win, and the lose in Finals, so then the Leafs will have lost to the team that lost to the team that lost to the team that won the cup.

I like Carolina, healthy they should get past Florida, but difficult to say where this series will go.

 

Panthers are playing well and they don't seem to have any injuries.

In the west I just hope Edmonton plays the winner of this series.

On paper, Carolina looks like a far better team than Florida. So did Boston. So did Toronto. Florida has 8 wins and 4 losses. Florida is booking travel for the Conference Final while Boston and Toronto are booking tee times. Anything can happen from here.

Canes should win it, won't be upset if Florida does, they've been fun to track

Did pretty good first round ... second I doubted the Canes.   Slavin is pretty unbelievable.   Think their D is going to give Florida fits and they're coached incredibly well.   Tough to ignore hot goaltending...With this one just going to pick the team i'd rather win, it's close, because I liked the Whalers...but since they already won a cup going with Florida.   Last year Florida came in as a contender...this year all that pressure was off, supposed to be a tune up team for Boston.    Not much is following a script that's for sure.   Panthers in six.
