wai_lai416
1 hour ago, Elias Pettersson said: You know what, I actually agree with you. Everyone talks about Kuzy scoring goals, but Petey also had 39 goals last year. Petey I think can easily crack 40 next year. 50? Maybe. If he is hitting 50 goals and 120 points then he could win the Hart trophy... EP just needs to adjust his sniper scope a little and hit the net more. His % of shot that miss the net is quite high compared to the top snipers in the league not including blocks. like pasta 1 out of 7ish shot attempt will miss the net while EP is avg closer to 1 out of every 4. even if counting blocked attempts he's like anywhere from 3-8% more than the top snipers if u can get those down couple % he'd have a chance to break 50 yearly

Popular Post grandmaster
I have several. My man JT Miller will break 120 points, and wins the Hart. EP becomes the next Kesler and wins the Selke. Kuz becomes a scoring machine at 60 goals and wins the Rocket. Demko becomes the best goalie in the NHL and wins the Vezina. We also make top 3 in the Pacific and win the Stanley Cup with Demko playing lights out and winning the Conn Smythe. 3 2

McBackup
Canucks narrowly miss the playoffs once again, Pettersson indicates he is not happy with the club or interested in signing a long term extension beyond his qualifying offer, forcing the Canucks move him and commit to a serious reevaluation of the competitiveness of the core of this team. how’s that for a hot take?
Sylas
If the team wants to win games and make the playoffs the individual stats have to decrease. So many of our top guys points have come from playing run and gun pond hockey, getting down by a few goals early and having to come back, and stat padding late in the season with no pressure and an easier schedule. Time to tighten things up, stop giving up so many odd man rushes, play lower scoring games, no player will reach 90 points,

Maginator
- Canucks make playoffs. Shock the Oilers by winning in 7 games of round 1 - tocchet jack Adams nominee - demko Vezina nominee - Petey Selke nominee and receives hart votes As for the rest of the NHL - Columbus finishes in the final wildcard spot in the east. Babcock changes that team for the better. He is also a jack Adams nominee. - Pittsburgh wins the cup - Ovechkin scores 60 - Bolts miss the playoffa 1
Ted Lasso
The Canucks take third in the Pacific after the Kings falter. One of Kopitar/Doughty takes a big step back due to age/injuries, one of Byfield/ Clarke isn’t ready, and neither Copley nor Talbot can manage the starting job in net. Dr. Crossbar
Many of the Canucks defensive alumni all come together in Vancouver for the season opener ... Salo, Ohlund, Lumme, Jovo, Bieksa, Edler, Hamhuis, Snepts, Babych ... even former Canucks Dman Jim Benning secretly flies in under the cover of darkness ... To throw their support behind Hronek and openly give fans the exact reasons why they should be ... Wait for it ... Wait for it ... Happy with Hronek

48MPHSlapShot
The team has yet another bad start and never quite gets it together. Pettersson expresses to management that he wants out and is traded for a massive package of futures during next year's offseason.
combover
1 Petterson is going to irritated and frustrated with the endless barrage of false trade rumours signing $$$ rumours and media question. a distraction this club can’t afford. And a real con when EP actually does consider if he wants to be here long term. the last deal he signed he said it’s a show me a direction and some winning so far the organization has failed to live up to their side. 2 we will be horrible in the faceoff circle
