    anyone else think Tanev will be traded? Since the contract talks have been stalled for some time. It only makes sense to trade him now and get his value.

      one large defencemen's contract will need to go...if tanev's money is high, they will probably try and move juice..they moved garrison because they didn't want 4 high priced d-men...decisions

      They already know how Tanev will play in the next Stanley Cup Final he's in...very cool, dependable, and even better than he did the 1st time. That's signifigant knowledge. They should keep him. It's Not the current contracts that are the issue, it's the next ones for Hammer and Juice (UFAs Summer of 2016)

      yah so they went with the year before or something.. I think all teams were eligible, but the teams that were lower in the standing had the best chance, and if I recall correctly Penguins were one of the worst

      It was decided by a lottery. So teams that had sucked for the 3 years before got 3 balls in the lottery, teams who were okay got 2 and the best teams got 1. The Canucks had one ball and got the 10th pick, Bourdon RIP.

    The real issue with this team is the fragile core not Kassian

      Not sure you noticed but the aging core are all whooping Kassian's rear end.Fragility comes in many forms and one of them has two goals on the season.
