Look at Virtanen here what a difference!!!

Benning says he is pretty much done for the summer. What about Markstrom and Hansen though? They don't seem to fit. Also Canucks still need another top six winger and offensive d-man who can skate the puck and qb the pp.

NOOOOOO NEYMAAARRR SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!!!

^In the eyes of fans he is always diving so they thought once again he was exaggerating.
@viking mama
The knee went undetected because the Colombian player was going up to challenge in the air and jumped up on Neymar's back and drove his knee into his spine simultaneously.
Apparently the injury is not really serious, luckily and he should be back on the field in a month or so. But yeah Brazil also losing Silva was huge who is their captain and best defende...

Surprised CDC has not crashed after Travis Green trolls every fan watching the season opener by healthy scratching Brock Boeser in favour of Dorsett and Burmistrov.
The real surprise is Virtanen over Boeser on opening night who legit had that?

I get the impression that Green doesn't like Boeser a whole lot. Seems like he was reluctant to have him make the team, despite having an unreal camp. Also, in his interview after training camp had ended, he seemed to indirectly say things to undermine what Boeser did in training camp, and now here we are. Opening night, and he's sitting.

Where is the Nikita Tryamkin thread about his comments calling Vancouver a drug addict city that smells like grass everywhere and has lots of Chinese and Hindu fans?

Hitmans bodyguard or Wonder woman going to see one tonight which one need answer ASAP!!!

What would Canucks need to give up to get Tyson Barrie now that they have Makar?
- Show previous comments 9 more

Barrie is a entertaining to watch let's get this straight this ain't about wins and losses right now at this stage of the Canucks it's more about putting butts in seats and being a entertaining team to watch again.
Winning back the fans with energetic fast physical and skilled hockey.
Barrie gives them what they haven't had since Ehrhoff. D don't sell tickets Offence does.
They are gonna suck regardless why not have some fun and get a good offensive d man to play with the young skill forwards coming up?
Price might be crazy but Benning has said numerous times he is looking for a #1 skill center who can be playmaker
And a #1 pp QB/ offensive d man to put up points.
-
Well said S'all. Trading for Barrie is exactly that scenario - one step forward, two steps back.
@Chip Kelly, for me it's not wins and losses, it's about rebuilding the right way.
-
Call up Jordan Subban he can QB the power okay and give some life. Pair him with Hutton or Tryamkin.

What is @UticaHockey opinion since you actually watch and follow the minor league team more closely than most.
-
Botchford says Canucks really like Noah Dobson. Taj (the Canucks super fan) mentioned on twitter Juolevi was the pick when Botchford speculated last time and was right.
-
Benning don't make the same mistake twice and pass on another Tkachuk again. No brainer pick in top 6.

@Chip Kelly he hasn't been a notably high scoring player (not bad just not "elite"), so thats probably the main area. But if he gets into the net front in the NHL like he does now it'll pay off. My only concern is his attitude about being here, so the combine interview will be important.

perhaps, I was mainly referencing teams that have tried to lose and tank. Your right that the oilers started the change but other teams doing it as well has caused drastic change. Lots of teams try to lose for top pick, which is wrong, but unfortunately the Canucks have been trying to win and just can't.

You can't really use Sweden as a good example, although I would admit that they and Germany and other European countries have not handled the mass migration and escape from wars well.
Take the example of a boss groping his secretary on an ongoing basis. Say he does it over 50 times before it's finally reported.
Here, that would be one case with multiple times.
In Sweden, IIRC, it would count as 50 cases.
Also, I've worked in immigration (albeit on a provincial level). The vetting is extremely thorough, at least on our end. From what I've heard, it's as lengthy or more at the federal level.

@thejazz97 I hope you are right. Hopefully Trudeau doesn't relax procedures just to show how progressive Canada is in comparison to the US.

This speculation of Goldy being a healthy scratch vs the Kings don't sit well with me...

@Quantum Thank you. It's bad enough people are fine with him being scratched in meaningless games. On top of that they want him in the minors and Rodin to take his spot next season. He has almost 2 full seasons of quality AHL production under his belt. Yet because he is adjusting to a higher level and brand new team people think he is simply not NHL ready yet.

Wakeup Benning dont sleep yet. Hansen needs to be moved still.
Cdc is prety dead right now. Lets get the peoplegoing and crash this website with excitement.

Guy at Little Caesars told me Detroit is gonna sign Loui and Frans Nielsen or Boedker.

My, my, it must be fate!
My fortune-telling burrito, which I got from the third cousin twice removed of the guy who made the hi-def camera which was used to take the picture of Looch (or was that Sasquatch?) outside Rogers Arena, tells me that it cannot confirm or deny whether that is fact.
HOWEVER, the next time I shook my magic burrito, a grain of rice shaped like a Stanley Cup fell on my Canuck plate-- PLAN THE PARADE!!!!!!!

The Hockey the last 2 nights has been unbeleivable. Nice set of playoff games coming up on the weekend too. Plus World under 18 and CHL playoffs. Plenty of homework for @Gstank29 and @S N Y P E R S 7 the resident CDC draft experts to evaluate the top prospects.

If you watched the Seahawk game today you know there is some type of higher power at work, call it luck, destiny, god. It is there... that game was proof.

Am I the only one who thought the Avengers was over hyped and overrated it was a 6/10 movie at best.

@Dazzle the problem wasn't the action. There was plenty of that. The plot was very weak as well as the character development. The first half of the movie the Avengers are not getting along with each other and then all of a sudden just put their differences aside for what seems like a quick let's save the world ending in the second half of the movie. I think they tried to hard to make the movie funny and didn't spend enough time talking about the characters back story. Many people...

Is this all life is? Each hamster waking up each morning or various times of the day putting in their hours to fulfill the basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing.
Just doing enough to get by at times. Some doing better than others. While others fall short. Constantly in an unfulfilled search for satisfaction and happiness.
Go home and sleep and repeat all over again? Every day and then your one day off is spent running errands and getting things ready for the week ahead.
Where is the time for fun to find out what life really is? Somehow as a kid I thought there would be more to this whole world.
But only now I realized how we have been programmed since childhood by society and the school institutions to get used to drudging through weeks.

@Alf @Alflives No. Maybe just a mental breakdown. Is this your 2nd account by the way?
@RRypien37 Wouldn't that be nice if I was smart enough to think of a way to make a decent living off being my own boss.
This society has turned me into a methodical creature of habit. I need structure yet at times it is too much and monotonous.

I'm not voting. Because most politicians don't deliver when they get in power. I'm anti Liberal, anti green and conservative. And anti Mayor Moonbeam.

@SabreFan1 I believe that can only be invoked by the official opposition party when they share a minority government. It kicks off a new election, so typically they wouldn't call a vote of no confidence unless they are sure they can form a majority

Anybody who is anti team tank explain your reasoning.

Just got back from Spain. Chicks there are totally bomb. European girls are so much hotter than what we have here in Vancouver. Where does a guy have to go around here to find some hot girls who are not frigid?
