She was a heck of a hockey player, one of the best in her class. She’s a national heroine. It felt like CBC forced her onto the scene and it was always awkward with her. Even the sportsnet and TSN ladies, with less of a hockey resume, no doubt, are/we’re more natural and comfortable. She’s been at this a while now and has improved, I will give her that, but there’s just something amateur about her on the screen that makes me uncomfortable. brilac Posted January 5, 2019 Share Posted January 5, 2019 (edited) Called the airline again to change the flight to February down to San Francisco and back. We're all on good terms now. It's like a love hate relationship with them. My mother and I discussed the weather report and looked at a few local San Francisco weather reports, and it is not looking good - rainy, gusts, wind, something like that, but that's not why the airline cancelled the 8:20am flight. They had too much congestion, so they would have too many flights taking off at SeaTac around that time... - that's what they told us. So I called the airline, and we talked, and they waived the change fee, and did an even exchange for a trip in February. Yep, the airline and us are all on good terms. Now we're all fine.
