Mazanec, 27, has appeared in 20 games for the Hartford Wolf Pack this season posting a record of 7-8-3 along with a .903 save percentage and 3.01 GAA. He has appeared in 31 career NHL games over parts of three seasons, all with Nashville, posting an 8-13-4 record, along with a 2.98 GAA, a .895 save percentage, and two shutouts. Mazanec was named the NHL's Rookie of the Month for November of 2013, as he posted a 5-4-1 record, along with a 2.00 GAA, a .932 save percentage, and two shutouts in 10 appearances during the month. The 6-4, 187-pounder also appeared in 23 games with HC Slovan Bratislava of the KHL in 2017.18, posting a 3.40 GAA and a .899 save percentage. In addition to his NHL experience, Mazanec has appeared in 205 AHL games, posting a 100-74-22 record, along with a 2.67 GAA, a .908 save percentage, and 11 shutouts. I know we love the guy and we're all pulling for him, but let's be realistic. He's not an NHL goalie (yet). Don't know who this Mazanec guy is, but he's got size and NHL experienced. We'll take him!
