• Goldobin signed for close to min, 2way waived or traded for pick.
• Schaller waived or traded for pick.
• Bailey assigned.
• Sautner assigned
• Rafferty Assigned
• Teves Assigned
• Baertschi traded for an upgrade on Baily or Motte when Roussel returns (December?)
  • Move Ferland to 2nd line Motte to 3rd, and call up Bailey

 

 

Set Pair:  Pretty set in stone combos I think are most likely.

Really pulling for Gaudette to make the team. He is a really strong prospect still. Looked so good at the end of last season.

Virtanen, we need you to player hard every shift. Please man, you are a beast when engaged.

I think I would have Sutter center the third line and Gaudette as the 13th forward myself. There wil no doubt be players moved in and out by training camp but this is one of the most complete Canuck teams I can remember!

Hope they'll move Loui & Baer, before Sutter. C is an important position for 1st half-depth.

team has 24 players signed (gaudette is not included on capfriendly, is shown as already demoted)

assuming none are moved (which does seem unlikely, but it is safer to assume no moves are made)

the team will sign 2 more - brock and goldobin

 

they will be at 26 and need to move 3

that is the paramount issue.. who to move safely to maintain asset management

i say schaller, loui, and hughes

schaller and loui need waivers.. and we would all be happy if they were picked off waivers

of the remaining young prospects who can be sent down without waivers.. hughes has the least seniority

 

it's a paper move anyway .. as he can be recalled in 1 day when roussel is placed on ltir

it's safer to do it this way rather then risk losing someone else on waivers

i kinda want to keep everyone else right now (they have value)

Biega (Strong chance he's better than Fantenberg, but I think the team will want to see what they have in Fantenberg)

McEneny (Remains underrated IMO)

Raffery (Looked okay last year, but nothing impressive)

Teves (Looked out of place in his 1 NHL game)

Waive Schaller. I'd like Eriksson gone as well, but I'm not sure it will happen yet; we might have to wait until his NTC turns into a limited NTC next summer.

 

There are more potential call-ups, but they're so far down the depth chart right now it's not worth bothering to discuss them here.

 

Tons of movement could happen within that lineup. I fully expect this to be pretty far off the actual lineup.
