Thing is those teams build momentum off PP’s and can bring the intensity up a few notches. We look like a team that’s just wanting to play straight time. Because a player that has CONTROL of the puck enters the zone while another player is offside. Control, possession, don't care what you want to call it. Thank god that NHL is a joke when it comes to reffing because if we consider this to be precedent, then we would need instant replay to zoom in on the distance between the puck and someone's stick when they're stickhandling. This is akin to saying that a basketball player doesn't have possession of the ball when they are dribbling the ball because they only touch it when it bounces up from the court.
