We will find a way to bump this slump as we have all season when things look to be going off the rails. Sad to see this be the last night of our boys wearing this amazing jersey they resurrected this season. Hope they use it again soon. Let’s go and be the hunters instead of the hunted tonight!

Petey is light weight but he is a large target and is always in the tough areas. He will get push, shoved  hit and held. No way around it. It is up to the kid to find a way to produce yet not draw quit so much attention to him self. 99 did it.

You can't expect someone to defend him for every little push and shove. He wouldn't want that. He needs to work from the open areas more. Find open space. Let the muckers dig the puck free. He is almost his own worst enemy.

I'm taking an ex-Leafs fan (key word EX) to the game tonight to begin her indoctrination as a Canucks fan. Should be pretty easy honestly.

For some reason I'm thinking of that Seinfeld episode where George convets to Greek Orthodox for a girlfriend.

Does serving a penalty ( extra man for example ) count as ice time?

that depends on the penalty kill.

if they kill the penalty the player probably gets 6 seconds of ice time to skate across to the bench

if they get scored on, no ice time as the skate happens between whistles

if that was the only play of the game... we should ask John Garret to look up the answer
