Popular Post captainhorvat
Zack MacEwan sits over guys like Eriksson, Rousell and Virtanen. All 3 of those players have been useless lately and can barely throw a hit. And you got a hungry motivated big body MacEwan that lays it on thick but he cant crack the lineup. Great message coach u f'n clown. 2 1 1

-Vintage Canuck-
"Good game... really good game. Probably our best game in the last 6 or 7 games... Did a lot of good things. Gave up 11 scoring chances in regulation, had 18. Didn't have any puck luck. Very tenacious group tonight. Unfortunate we didn't get two points tonight but definitely a step in the right direction. We want all our guys to work. Win races, win puck battles. You watch the best players... that's the norm. I think Petey gets that. He works, he skates, he does whatever he can to help us win." - Green 2
Popular Post Arrow 1983
so much anger on this board right now The Canucks are still in a great spot with games in hand on all the teams below them and only 1 point out for 1st in the division what more do you want??????? 1 6 4

No GM in the league is stupid enough to take him on unless we attach a 1st rd pick and possibly more. Best thing to do is either sit him and hope he decides to retire and play him on the 4th line in defensive situations and on the PK, as his defensive game is just about the only thing about him that isn't absolutely atrocious. A team completely out of the playoffs would do it, but like you said, we need to attach an asset. I agree though, it's not worth it. We're better off sitting him and pray he retires lol. Dr. Crossbar
The Wild have been playing great since the start of the year ... beat the Stars twice, Jets and the Lightning, shut out the Knights, and been close in most games they've lost. This wasn't going to be an easy game. Glad we got the point. Edited February 20, 2020 by Dr. Crossbar .

Popular Post 48MPHSlapShot
Move Virtanen up to either the Pettersson or Horvat line, move Motte up to play with Gaud and Rooster, move Eriksson down to the 4th (or..you know....out of the lineup completely and bring in the Zack attack). I hath spoken. 2 1 2

He does nothing.

We are coached to be passive and chase. It’s far too easy fir the opponents to move around the ice. We stick check instead of getting into the body. Green has a good roster now, and we should be doing a lot better.
Canuckfanforlife82
Green just said Markstrom played well. Are we stupid? He sure talks as though we are. I am sorry but his attitude will not win us a cup. Edited February 20, 2020 by Canuckfanforlife82

Their play in their own end. It’s ok to let players skate circles around you. He just praises and praises. That's a really bad sign. Does he not give a $&!# about the defensive collapses or does he not even realize that the D has been playing awful and bleeding high-risk chances for a long time now?

If that puck didn't bounce in and we just so happened to win tonight, the tone would be very different. We're going to turn it around guys, have faith. We lost but we got a point, that's the positive. 3
