You put up 72 points like he did the season before, you don't have to play defense.  Their problem is they have no Tanev equivalent.  GM failed them.

Yes, you do.  You play as bad as he does in his own end, it doesn't matter how many points you are putting up; you are hurting the team with your incompetence. 

 

He is a defenseman.  If he doesn't want to play defense, he can give playing wing a shot.
