It's nice to see the hospitalization and ICU numbers dropping... that's probably the most important thing now.  Actual case numbers are kinda useless unless you look at general trends I guess.

Wow...that was lame....luckily it only lasted a minute, so it's not like I wasted much time watching....

It's hard to imagine anyone would be stupid enough to put stock in such a garbage video, but It's also hard to imagine people stupid enough to swallow any misinformation about a deadly pandemic, so I guess I stand corrected?

I sometimes wonder if they really actually do.

They have found a way to get attention which is so important for some humans. This explains trolls.

I once heard that greetings in some languages translate to 'I see you'.

It's important for some to just be acknowledged, even if the attention might be negative.

Covid cases continue to drop at a steady rate, all precautions have been taken. Time to open things up, but keep the elderly isolated.

Prob. could have done that at the start. But now not even the elderly want to be isolated. Esp. after vaxxes. That's a no go.

Meanwhile I got this funny feeling that the Ottawa shenanigans could have easily been avoided.

Oh well.

How about keep the elderly protected?  The science supports protecting the highest risk groups, like the elderly.  The same science also shows an unvaccinated 20 year old is actually at higher risk for severe illness from Covid than a boosted 80 year old.  So what do we do with the antivaxxer adults?  They are actually the highest risk group.

The unvaccinated are the highest risk group.  Data been posted here several times already.  Do we isolate them?  If we allow them full access to society, do we care for them in hospitals for Covid?

You do understand how this works, right?  Numbers drop BECAUSE we're taking precautions and if we drop those prematurely....numbers go back up.

We're not there yet.

I have read the Wheel of Time series of Books and " the Aiel" greeting is " I see you bishopshodan"

Earlier in my life I had read that some Native American peoples greeting was this.

The Zulu greeting Sawu bona translates to I see you.

2 years later with omicron, yes the unvaxxed are there, but so are the vaxxed.  To a larger degree due to scale of omicron spread. In that case we don't isolate anyone. We back up the systems.  As what was initially required if covid ever got really bad in bc.

But now even that period has passed. I had posted icu cap. data and it wasn't close to an overwhelming status for omicron. Good news.

So we're just waiting for the experts to wake up and the remaining restrictions to be lifted.
