Its sad its gone this bad, but Im almost on the boat that I'd have anybody else in the lineup other than Rousel. He had a good first season here but damn, his play has gone down the dumpster. Absolutely does F-all

its sad he gets paid 3 million while Toffoli would have gotten 4 mil here. I guess we are paying the price on Bennings over spending last couple of summers ago. I hope he will never signs 4th liners for more than 1 million again.

is that for the whole first period, or does te blender start in the 5th minute?

Am hoping Green gives this a chance for a couple of games at least, since Miller has been back only for 1 game. Boeser would be a good trigger guy for the 2nd line.

How is that ironic? And what is your point here?

The REALITY is that Ferland has always had concussion concerns even before making his debut as a Canuck.

And the fact that he’s injured means he’s contributing nothing towards the success of the team, and until he has fully figured out his concussion issues we won’t be seeing him anytime soon.

So a move to a LTIR or other solution to free up both money and roster spAce actually makes the most sense for the success of the team going forward.

Let’s deal in reality not hypotheticals.  The so called physical style you refer to is what keeps getting him injured and after numerous head injuries and punches to the head as a result of his style of play,  it seems that it’s caught up with him.

My point was he is exactly what we need in the lineup and there were plenty of fans who thought we were a better team with the cap-space over him yet it's obvious we need what he brings.

There are many here who don't thinks he a top six guy and considered his LTIR a blessing.

Not sure why you have to be all confrontational, I never singled you out

The irony is pretty obvious I thought?

My whole point is if he had returned fully healthy some still don't like him on the team.

Pretty sure his doctor said if he were to fully recover he stood a good chance of not relapsing easily even with his style.

Also people forget that with Ferland in, we would not have Hamonic which we desparately need this season in case of injuries. I am not a big fan of Benn so Hamonic is great to have to shore up our defensive depth.

If its the old Ferland that isnt so injury prone, I wouldnt mind. But this new Ferland is really injury prone to the point that he only lasts a few games beforr getting injured. So I guess the LTIR is better for us than an injury prone Ferland in a 56 game season. But I do get your point, We sorely lack a Ferland type of player. At least Podkolzin will come over soon.

Didn’t you get the memo?  Bertuzzi is hated by Canucks fans?

that's not what that article said. it said he was one of the most hated canucks.

those are 2 separate and distinct things.

idk how you could hate the man.

I definitely don’t hate him. One of my all time favourites. There was an article in Vancouverisawesome talking about how he is hated with a follow up refusing to apologize.

Did you read the second one?  Here is a direct quote from it, “If you're a hardcore fan of the team, think back on which other former players or coaches of ours are disliked by other fans in the seats around you at Rogers Arena. There aren't many, hey? Bertuzzi is for sure in the top 3

if you were a fan between 2006 and 2010 or so, you'd find it hard to disagree. he was booed incessantly in vancouver during that span.

So many here are doom and gloom when the Canucks have not looked good in any game yet. Relax. Chill. Open a window and get some fresh air. They have been getting better each game.

We do not need to trade Rousel, Virt, Sutter, Beagle or anyone else your minds can worry about.
