I LOVED working with my (now lifelong) Turkish friends.  They were so kind, generous and the food was a big thing...we'd all gather in the lunch room and the women would bring their dishes to share with us.  A Turkish flat pizza (always forgot the name).  Tabouleh.  Dolma.  It was a wonderful experience learning about their cullture.

There's a joint in Victoria I would go for maunoush, a killer Middle Eastern deli off McKenzie. and it had the Lebanese version of that. They did a rad spiced lamb and another one that was like cheese and zaatar. I am not 100%, but I think that you're referring to lahmacun.
