Hull if it's a forward, Kane will likely be the highest scoring American ever when he's done, but he won't be the top goal scorer.

Probably Chelios or Leetch though as having either of em on the back end would elevate each of the twelve forwards up front. Leaning towards Chelios, Leetch had a higher offensive ceiling but Chelios was tough as nails.

I went with Chris Chelios.  Could still handle 20-25 minutes a night in his 40s.

Better than .5 ppg and a lot of PIM.

Could save on personal trainers as they could just make everyone do what he did for workouts.

I still hate the guy  hated watching him play us.

Went with Hull, guy was a beast in his prime.

I'll never forget him being manhandled by Bert to end up laying on the ice holding onto Bert's legs and the refs just ignoring it.

Hull was great past his prime too. Under Bowman he actually was a solid 2 way player. Brett Hull knew where to be on the ice better than almost anyone who has ever played.

Who says plus minus is a worthless stat, certainly not Mark Howe. Hall of famer is one of the best defensive/offensive defensemen ever.

Forget all the other figure skaters like Amonte, Madonna, Leetch and Roenick. Joking of course... these guys were great.

Howe was a really great player and maybe one of the truly most under rated players of all time playing under his fathers shadow.

these polls are interesting, but when I think of "in their prime" from that list, there was stretch there where the guy could score at will.
