It could easily be 5-0. Nurse is scum and what an atrociously disgusting waste of cap space.

That was a bonehead signing, literally and figuratively.

But it was a very good signing for the rest of the league. As long as Nurse remains their #1 dman, Oilers won't be able to sign anyone else.

I don’t get to watch many games but man I’m liking what I’m seeing so far.  Everyone is hustling, everyone is finishing their checks.   Aside from Larsson who still likes to rush the blue line, stop and pass it back to Center ice. Maybe he hasn’t gotten the green slapped out of him yet.
hoglander I can see being canon fodder soon.

I gotta admit, I like Draisaitl’s game and demeanour on the ice and off.

Out of any Oiler he's the one I have alot of respect for.

On that one shift Miller was going to town on him along the boards & he still stayed up then made a play as he stumbled. Nvm his playoffs last year was super human.

Nurse & the others can go suck a lemon

Our PP needs to be better. All this talk of special teams winning us games, we're now 1-13 in our last 14 power plays dating to Arizona.

We need to score.

Id be worried if they wernt generating chances/losing possession.  So far, the PP looks like a threat

1st period observations:

- Our forwards are tenacious tonight! Hungry, even.

- Petey and Miller are beautiful. Picking up where they left off last season.

- I very much like our 4th line. Very, very much.

- Poolman still gives me nightmares but he's managing tonight.

- Stillman and Burroughs are quiet and low event. Best you can ask for against the offensive dynamo of McDraisatil.

- Oilers are checking tightly, but the Canucks are getting under their skin.

I'm predicting a very chippy 2nd period after a PPG by Horvat off the nurse penalty. Expecting our PK to get tested hard once the penalties start getting evened up.

GCG!
