Gonna be fun watching the hometown Vancouver kid abuse us for years to come. But hey, it was so worth it going on that late season run this past season, wasn’t it? LOLOLOL.

If anything this draft lottery proved that we had no chance of ever getting Bedard and that our late run changed absolutely nothing.

i'm glad we at least didn't drop. it was expected with only a 3 percent chance.

so the saga continues. i'm wondering if the canucks will ever in their existence end up getting draft luck.

they needed to find a way to boost tv ratings in the US somehow.

rigged, gross and again a dumb system.

I'm a firm believer in laughing at people calling this rigged but that was awfully awfully suspect.

Same here. I usually treat "rigged" as a joke, but what happened there??

You keep ignoring the fact that how the Canucks ended the season mattered to some (already) very important pieces here. Keeping Petey, Quinn and company motivated and engaged matters. They want to stay but if they lost out and the mood of failure settled in, that could change.

But sure...people love to just moan and complain (keep doing the same thing).

did it matter last season and the season before and all the season previous?

Ridiculous, they even messed up before the commercial break and leaked Chicago moving up.

It just seems that every year the outcome is exactly what I think the league would want, just saying.
