well, there's some good evidence for that position not being valid, all depends on the sport and the person and what the other competitors think. I don't think you can make a blanket statement like that. Not surprised CJ's getting pushback.

All I know the drive thru took about 45 minutes. Took like 2 minutes. And I got my results the next day. Fortunately they were negative.

Weird. As my sister says it feels like your brain is getting scraped. I doesn't hurt. It feels awkward. It's so quick

300+ is shaw in HD. Maybe its different in Squamish.

Harshly worded but I agree, I think seeing the age demo that watches the CFL would be interesting too. 

Me too nux (hanging with Geroy)...was doing a "grand opening/signing" in Richmond along with Dave Dickenson.  Was in the summertime and I went early to "line up".  Was so disappointed to see maybe a dozen people there.  But they hung in there anyhow and chatted with all of us in a very casual, relaxed way.  They were so cool about it all.  Laughed because there was a trivia challenge with prizes and the same few of us kept getting the answers and prizes.  Everyone got a prize.

Quality man Geroy.  I have a framed print of him ... he was a force out there.

Damon Allan was an amazing guy....

Took a  small group of at risk./. street kids / drug issues....  teens up snowboarding...at a local moutain. ... first time for them.  Got them all a lesson .  Damon Allan was in the lesson.  He realized what my group was up to.. He then offered to spend the day. with 2 of my group.....  Then snow boarded all the day with 2 of them. 

I thought that was pretty cool of him.  It was a quite a few years ago.. but i think the guy was modest and had a huge heart....

maybe he's quarantining for a trade.....

i think there are two sides of the story. I don't entirely believe Weekes' side of the story - no evidence of damage, but for Crawford to go all out on him says something.

Maybe Weekes didn't want to be in Vancouver.

I think I will check this book out. My favourite Burke story was the time he was driving and doing a radio hit with Dan Russell during the heyday of Sportstalk.  He pulled over to stop a fight on the street.
