      @Ghostsof1915They are lacking in the futures department. Besides the Bluechippers like Krebs and Chayka, it's pretty barren. Plus they would need to dump salary if they want to swing a trade which would cost them extra. Big yikes there.

    I’m enjoying the games nevertheless. There is still hope for playoffs (not likely I know) but also gonna be an interesting deadline. Sure beats the heck outta last year.

      I've sort of taken that stance for awhile now and just watch each game for only that. I don't check the standings (although I see updates) because "it is what it is". I'm still super happy to even have sports to watch as I remember how awful the world felt when they shut down. 

       

      Grateful to have a team. Mostly JT Miller.

    I’m enjoying the offence. Hating the defence all around. Looking forward to 2 months time. Spring and see who’s on the team after the deadline. Dog days of the season, just like winter.

    I’ve been excited about Demko since the day we drafted him. It’s kinda cool to see it all come together after following him since. I’ve noticed he’s been getting recognized as a Top 5 goaltender across the league. We are so lucky to have him

    Just glad we didn’t ship Schenn for a 6Th rounder. Glad management sees the value in having a player like Schenn on the roster even if it’s only one more year.

    Loving the aggressive style of play we are playing. Night and day from the defensive collapse. It’s funner to watch too.

      I'm looking forward to the PK now as i'm sure the opposition sure isn't with how aggressive we are on it. Effing love it. Bruce does what we all have wanted WITH THE SAME PLAYERS!

      Crazy how many people accept the erroneous fact that we have to live with fake news. We don't.  We just need to stand up to the media and demand better or tune them out.

      @Chickenspear They need to get some players with an edge and bigger bodies. Doesn't not suit a charmin team like the Canucks.

       

      Better fit for Vegas imo if anything...

    Saw a list on IG showing the Canucks and Penguins most injured teams over the past 10 years. Honestly not surprised. We’ve had garbage luck in that department. A lot of grief about certain players snd their contracts over the years but a lot has had to do with injuries. Sutter for example probably would have been worth his 4 mill if not for injuries. He was practically an ironman 20 goal scoring, shutdown center before Van

    Some of the blame should be passed on to the postponement of games we probably would have won but they decided revenue was more important. In the end it changed nothing just made our season tougher

      The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim lost to the Avelanch too! The Coilers are in a tailspin, Dallas has all kinds of Covid positives. I dread the schedule when its redrawn.

      @Devron44 His second season with us was better than most remember, but he had injury problems, so he couldn't really finish with high numbers.

      @-AJ- I seem to remember that. First couple seasons he was definitely an alright player - money aside. It’s been the last 2 that have been unbearable. He had a effective small run with Bo and Pearson there. But overall very underwhelming

    The Black Skate is obviously a fan favourite. My personal as well. However I’m tired of changing jerseys all the time. I’d like to see the Skate as a permanent fixture as the third jersey. 12 games a year. Keeps it fresh and fun as well

      I've moved my need to accepting the idea of the skate as a regular 3rd jersey. The Skate looks good, but I'm glad we haven't changed logos substantially in about 25 years. Throw it in as a 3rd and maybe even try a white skate jersey now and then, but I don't want a permanent change.
