      Kane + Toews + Saad + Seabrook + Keith + Crawford = nearly $40M.  They might need to fill out the rest of the roster with rookies and projects just to stay under the cap.

      I got a feeling Kass will come back for a few yrs in Van. Win a Cup in Edm, & soon they won't have enough cap space for all their young talent.

       

      Perhaps in 2 or 3 yrs he'll return. Either way, really happy for the guy, turning around his life like he did.

      Would love to see him back here, he's been having a great playoffs. I think everyone just expected too much of him, if he can play in the top 9 while being physical, the odd fight here and there and put up 35 points a year that would be fantastic.

      He's had a good couple of games.  Maybe you all can wait a bit before you continue to wax poetic about him?  He's still performing the same in the regular season as he always has.  A decent 3rd/4th liner.  Only difference is he's clean and sober now and surrounded with talent that can help him along.

      @Squamfan Nope. They had to be on the AHL roster the day of the trade deadline. Golddobin and Gaunce were sent down (but not actually sent to Utica) then immediately recalled to the Canucks. So they can both go.

      Gaunce is injured and is likely out for the remainder of the season. Goldobin and Bachman are en route to Utica. Both should be helpful.

      if they resign anyone it should be miller guys a gem and a total professional.  i do think markstrom and bachman would do fine as a tandem next yr but   if miller wants 2 more yrs id give him a cheap decent deal if im benning demko will be ready not next yr but following yr for prime time  he will get call ups next yr tho hes a good young netminder

      Saturday was the first game I've missed in years.   I don't even call it utter suckage because they aren't floating around, not caring out there.  The young guys have heart and speed and I find it highly entertaining, even if we do lose.
