Boudrias
Sauve had a tough year last year stuck down in Kalamazzo for as many games as he was. Kiss the Wolves goodbye and say hello to Utica. He will get better coaching and development there. Reserve judgement on this kid for another season. One good sign is when he went down to Kalamazoo he dominated offensively with 10 goals in 32 games. Considering is a big, physical, defense first player that is very positive. Also keep in mind only one player scored over 20 goals with Kalamazoo (22) so they weren't an offensive juggernaut either.
Plum
He needs to step up his offensive skill. He has pretty good physical, defensiveness. I think he has 1 year left to see if he is worth a contract, this is his year. Play him in the top 6 with Andersson, Tommernes, Blain, Polasek, Mullen. He has all the tools to be effective offensively. I still remember his first prospect camp and pre-season.... he was flying around being physical and creating tons of chances offensively. I just hope he's able to be reliable defensively and be a physical force. Just a bigger version of Tanev would be nice.
The Lock
I really like having our own AHL franchise now. The more control the Canucks organization can have the better. We already know Corrado will be getting big minutes in Utica, perhaps Sauve will get the same.
elvis15
Not that Sauve gets much love here anymore, but here's his fight from last night: Stood up for himself after a hit he didn't like, and against a guy a bit taller than him. Sauve's tough and can handle himself.
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
I still have a soft spot for Sauve. He has everything you want in a dman except one glaring and crucial factor is his decision making. He skates well, physical, hard shot when he does use it and has good leadership skills. I hope he gets one more shot at it with us

I hope he gets one more shot at it with us I think he's used up his quotas of "shots" What I'd like is to see Hutton & McNally leave school and head to Untica. Each time I watched Sauve he looked like some one had just shouted "Fire" running around in ever decreasing circles to finally disapear......... UFCanuck
All talk about Yann Sauve goes in here. I'll add more stuff later. I think he forgot...
Gyllenhaal
With Weber injured any one think he gets the call-up? I think its going to be either him or Peter Andersson, although i would prefer Andersson since he has the better numbers.
stonecoldstevebernier
Could be either one, Sauve has the edge in experience but Andersson's had the better season. Could also be Alex Biega for all we know... whoever they bring up probably won't be playing all that much regardless.
WonderTwinPowers
Need more righties, we're running low
stonecoldstevebernier
Need more righties, we're running low Which works in Biega's favour, since the only righties we're able to call up are Biega or Patrick Mullen. I suppose either one could fill the role.
Lancaster
I hope they called up Sauve, even if he was just to sit in the pressbox. Hopefully could be used a carrot to entice the kid. A good little, "You're that close to the NHL! Time for you to buckle down, work on your game and give it 110%!"
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
He deserves to get a call up. Been playing well as of late, and rewarding him with a call up might be the boost he needs.

stonecoldstevebernier
He's got some size, & they're into Boston the day after... Definitely not a guy who's afraid to lay the body or drop the gloves. I just hope he can bring that at the NHL level and not shy away from his strengths. ArmchairCanuckGM
How did he do today, I 'm glad he got some decent ice time, but it looks like he will be out of the lineup next game due to Diaz.
