The Amazing Race: Mafia [Game Over: TP win!]

The Amazing Race. A legendary demonstration of perseverance and teamwork. But something is different this time. A group of nefarious people have infiltrated the teams and the race. Can the innocent Racers fight it out amongst the Mafia in order to save The Amazing Race?

Nightfall: 9:00 PM

 

In addition, some Amazing Racist modifications:

 

 

 

1) The players will be split into teams of two. Throughout the round, each player gets to vote for one other player. Teams do not have to vote together. The player with the most votes will be deemed to have been eliminated from the race.

 

 

2) Players get scored out of 5 in 5 skill categories: Strength, Speed, Intelligence, Luck, Resolve (Max score of 15)

 

3) The player's scores will be used in challenges during some rounds which will award benefits to the winners.

 

• Detour: Choose one of two challenges which are hinted to require certain skills. Team members scores in those skills will be averaged. The team with the highest average score wins a reward. (1 winner per challenge)
• Ex. Thread the needle OR Feed the beetle. Thread the needle implies a knitting challenge where intelligence and luck may be involved. Feed the beetle may be an eating challenge where speed and resolve is important.
• Roadblock: Choose one team member to do the challenge based on a leading question. Highest score wins a reward.
• Ex. Who's seeing red? The challenge may be a bullfighting challenge where speed, luck, and resolve are needed.

 

4) Possible rewards for winning the challenges may include any of:

 

 

• Express Pass - Remove two votes from yourself (Use before 6:00 pm. Will be announced in thread immediately)
• Yield - Remove one player’s ability to vote for one round. (Use before 6:00 pm. Will be announced in thread immediately)
• U-turn - Forces a team to do the Detour other than the one they chose (Use before nightfall. Applies to the next round which contains a Detour. Will be announced in thread after the team has chosen their Detour)
• Med Kit - Save from Mafia Kill. One use only. Current holder may not pass it to their partner during the round. If still in play, it will get passed to one of two players the current holder names at the beginning of the round.
• Investigation - Finds Mafia and TP Specials (Use before 8:45 pm. Result given at nightfall)

 

5) There may be a Non-elimination leg. The player with the most votes is not lynched but starts off with one vote on them to begin the next round.

For the most part, you're still an independent player. Its mainly for the challenges that you're part of a team. There can be teams made up of a mafia and a TP.
