I'm still waiting for the day when I can make a scrap book off all them newspaper clippings of "Tanev shutting it down again tonite" or "Great match up between Tanev and whoever" This team needs offense and Kane is getting it done whether you like him or not Scored 20 last year and about to shotgun past that mark this year. Not only will it cost us no futures, with sedins off books we can pay kane based on his performance. If he turns into 40g scorer we have salary room. The question is, can he stay that way? Too much risk still in giving up a top D for someone who has trouble keeping focus and not letting drama from his personal life, spill over into the dressing room. I'm at a point now where I don't care if the player has been in trouble in the past, if he's youngish, can score goals and make an impact, sign him up. I'd rather have that kind of player than one who emotes zero emotion and doesn't play physical. I want goals, I want hits, I want hungry to win players.
