What @King Heffy said. Eriksson makes sense for them because his cap hit is $6M, but the momey they would have to pay is significantly less. To top it off OEL’s agent said once Friday hits they rescind the willingness to get traded and they won’t waive to go anywhere for the year. So Thursday is the day Arizona will probably pick which offer they like more Vancouver or Boston. He absolutely needs to lose LE's contract but let's be honest here. He really can't take on a massive contract like OEL's while giving away the farm with our youth as well. JB was burned with LE and OEL right now could be a similar gamble.
